HOW TO REGISTER
Online registration is strongly encouraged. Alternatively, please complete the PDF registration form available below and return it to the Congress Managers. Each registrant must complete a separate form.
Please note that all persons intending to attend the Congress must register, including speakers and chairpersons. Please read through the following registration information carefully before registering.
Please note; all prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

*Please note: Concession rates apply to clinical trainees in certified medical specialty training programs, research higher degree scholars (eg PhD students), medical students and other health sector students, midwives and nurses.
Delegates registering at the concession rate are required to submit a letter from their employer or supervisor confirming their status or provide other suitable evidence of their concessional status when registering for the Congress. Continuing Medical Education Certification
Attending delegates will be eligible to receive a certificate of attendance
at the Congress to assist with professional society continuing medical
education requirements.
Sponsor and Exhibitor Registration
Sponsors and exhibitors should refer to the Exhibition Manual for
their registration details.
REGISTRATION ENTITLEMENTS
Full Congress Registrants receive:
• Attendance at all Congress sessions
• Congress Program Handbook and satchel
• Copy of the abstract volume
• Daily catering as per the Congress program
• Attendance at the Welcome Function
Day Registrations receive:
• Attendance at Congress sessions on registered day
• Congress Program Handbook and satchel
• Copy of the abstract volume
• Catering as per the Congress program on registered day
Shared Registrations:
Please note that shared registrations (one full registration used
by more than one person from the same organisation) are discouraged
by the Congress organising committee. For organisations planning to
purchase a registration and then share it among employees, please
note that these will not be managed by the Congress Managers and are
to be solely managed by the organisation and the delegates attending
the Congress.
Wearing the name badge received upon registration to the Congress will be compulsory and will be required at all times to enter the Congress sessions, exhibition and catering areas.
Congress satchels, name badges and other delegate materials cannot
be left at the registration desk for re-collection.
No exceptions will be made.
Name Badges
All delegates will receive a name badge upon registration. This badge
is the official pass and must be worn at all times to obtain entry
to Congress sessions, social events and associated activities.
REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received in writing by the Congress Managers on or before 30 July 2010 will be accepted and all fees refunded less an A$100 cancellation fee. Cancellations received on or before the 31 August 2010 will receive a refund less 50% of fees paid. After this date cancellations cannot be accepted and will not be refunded. However, transfer of your registration to another person is acceptable. The full name and details of the person who will replace you must be advised in writing to the Congress Managers prior to the Congress. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the ISSHP World Congress.
To summarise the cancellation of registration fees:
• On or before 30 July 2010 will incur an A$100.00
cancellation fee.
• On or before 31 August 2010 will receive
a 50% refund of fees paid.
• After 31 August 2010 there will be no refund.
Cancellation of Social Events:
Payments are non-refundable after 31 August 2010
Visa Information (International Only)
With the exception of New Zealand citizens traveling on New Zealand
passports all foreign nationals must obtain a visa/ETA before travelling
to Australia. New Zealand citizens are issued with a visa on arrival
in Australia. For information about visa applications to enter Australia,

Please note that as visa processing times may vary, you are encouraged to apply for the appropriate visa at least 12 weeks before your departure to Australia.
