SOCIAL PROGRAM
Opening Ceremony
Date: Sunday 3 October 2010
Time: 5.30pm – 6.00pm
Venue: Plenary Hall 1, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre
An invitation is extended to all delegates and their registered accompanying persons to experience the opening of the Congress. The Opening Ceremony will be followed by the Welcome Function.
Welcome Function Date: Sunday 3 October 2010
Time: 6.00pm – 7.00pm
Venue: Level 1 Foyer, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre
Tickets: The Welcome Function is inclusive for all full fee Congress registrants. Attendance is not included for Day registrants and those only registering for the Pre Congress Workshop. Additional tickets can be purchased for A$75 per person when registering online for the Congress.
An invitation is extended to all delegates and registered accompanying persons to attend the Welcome Function to be held within the Congress Exhibition. Renew old friendships and make new acquaintances as we welcome you to Melbourne.
Dinner onboard the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant (Optional)
Date: Monday 4 October, 2010

Tickets: First Sitting A$91 per person

Melbourne is known for its trams, leafy boulevards and grand culinary experiences. This three hour dining experience combines all these things. Onboard the lovingly restored and decorated 1920s tramcar, guests will enjoy a 5 course meal, including beverages, while the tramcar travels around Melbourne.
Congress Gala Dinner (Optional)
Date: Tuesday 5 October 2010
Time: 7.00pm – 10.00pm
Venue: Melbourne Aquarium
Tickets: Tickets to attend the Gala Dinner are A$150 per person and can be purchased by indicating the number of tickets required on the registration form.
Held within the impressive Melbourne Aquarium, the official Congress Gala Dinner promises to be the highlight of the Congress. Views of the Yarra River and the stunning Coral Atoll Tank, featuring tropical marine life, provide the perfect backdrop to an evening of fine dining.
Optional Tours and Events
A number of exciting optional tours have been arranged to showcase what Melbourne and Australia have to offer. All tours are designed by arinex (license No. 2TA001144), for delegates and accompanying persons for the ISSHP Congress.
Only the best aspects of Melbourne and its environs have been incorporated to provide value for money for persons whose time is at a premium. All sightseeing tours include the services of a guide, all entry fees and meals where specified.
